International Order of the Rainbow for Girls

Upcoming Event: Ice Skating on March 21st

Time to lace up those blades of glory and join everyone for ice skating on Friday, March 21st. We will meet at Castle Ice Arena (www.castleice.com) at 6:40 p.m. Skating is from 7 to 9 p.m. We will then drive to the BMC for a slumber party followed by our BMC clean up and work party the next day. Pick up is at 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Be sure to bring the following:
- sleeping bag
- air mattress (bring your own if you want to be guaranteed to get one!)
- pillow
- pj's
- snacks to share after ice skating

For the BMC cleanup on Saturday, you will need the following:
- sturdy work gloves
- grubby clothes that you won't care if they get stuff on them
- rubber gloves
- Any garden tools, sponges, buckets, etc. for clipping and cleaning
- Dad's who can help with sanding and staining the line officer pedestals

Eat dinner before coming to the ice skating on Friday. Breakfast and lunch on Saturday will be provided. Bring $7 for skating.

Congratulations to Darcy and her corps of officers who were installed on January 26. In the meantime, check out the calendar page to see what activities are in store for the upcoming term!

We worked at a Toys For Tots collection in December 2007 and helped to load a huge truck with donated toys.

The girls also helped at the annual Chinese New Year celebration at 'Families with Children from China' in February. What is so endlessly fascinating about rice?

About Us:
Welcome! You have discovered the webpage for Bellevue Assembly #120, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls (IORG) located in Bellevue, Washington.

We meet the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. We don’t meet the 4th Thursday of either November or December. We also don't meet the 2nd Thursday of July since we are often at Grand Assembly then!

We are a busy group and have 18 active members! In the past six months we have collected Canned goods on Halloween, helped with the Issaquah Mason's CHIPS (Child Identification Program) booth at Salmon Days, had a fun mixed up dinner and Mystery Trip and been to Grand Assembly, Dream Camp and Potts of Gold.

For more information about our program, contact Barbara Ulrich, Mother Advisor.
